Our Top 5 Gastown Pubs

Gastown is considered one of Vancouver’s trendiest and liveliest spots. With its wide range of restaurants, shops, and pubs, Gastown has earned its reputation as the heart of Vancouver.

L’Atelier Coworking is located in the middle of Gastown, and is surrounded by the areas’ best spots. As members, we have tried almost every pub on the block, and as such have compiled a list of our favourite Gastown pub spots!

  1. Blarney Stone: Established in 1971, Blarney Stone is considered the oldest Irish Pub in the City! Blarney Stone maintains an authentic Irish interior, and is staffed with the highest level of Irish Hospitality.  Its drink prices are reasonable ranging from $6 - $10, but what sets this gem apart from other pubs is its events and live bands. As for food, its made for the hungry in mind! Our favorite is the deep fried mars bar which is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth any day.
  2. Steamworks: Steamworks opened its doors in 1995, and has been a Vancouver favourite ever since. Located right outside of Waterfront station, Steamworks serves the best brewed beer in the area. Moreover, Steamworks is known for its high quality food menu, and their shared platter take the crown when it comes to quality and price. A bit on the high-end Steamworks’ price range varies depending on the type of drink and platter you’re having, however its beautiful location, interior and service makes it worthwhile!
  3. Rogue Kitchen and Wetbar:  Conveniently located in Waterfront station, this Gastown gem is trendy and super friendly! The best part about Rogue Kitchen and Wetbar? It has the best Happy Hour deal in the area! Selected beverages are as low as $4 from 3 PM - 6 PM, making this place perfect for an after-work pick me up! As for its menu, it serves a range of cuisines from Asian to Western, our personal favourite being their Yam Fries dipped in their Garlic Aioli sauce. Perfect for business lunches and dinners, and especially easy for visitors to find.
  4. Tuc Craft Kitchen:This relatively new gem is a homey, cozy, and beautiful hang out spot.  Tuc Craft Kitchen integrates a rustic atmosphere with a modern take on hearty food. Depending on what you order, prices vary, however its Happy Hour Deal includes the best Mimosa you can ask for. You are bound to leave this place full and happy.
  5. Revel Room: Hidden in the heart of Gastown, the Revel Room is a beautiful small pub run by a tight knit crew. What sets the Revel Room apart is the live jazz band that simply lightens the place up with its amazing performance. Prices are a bit on the high end, but their “Sour Hour” ensures to cater your tastebuds, wine buds, and wallet. This place is
