L’Atelier Member Feature: Albert Chong

There's no coworking without coworkers! Meet the lively personalities who work out of our coworking space.

Where are you from/ where did you grow up? Any stories from your past that you'd like to share?

Grew up in northern BC in a small place called Prince Rupert then moved to Vancouver for BCIT (BBA/DipIT) which helped me get my foot into the door for a career in e-commerce marketing. After achieving some early success, I completed a year working abroad in Australia then moved back to Vancouver to pursue new opportunities!

What do you do/ what are you passionate about and why did you choose to do what you do? Any exciting projects to share or maybe an unknown facts about your line of work?

My passion is growing e-commerce businesses through my strengths of customer acquisition, retention, analytics, and website optimization. I've been in this space for over 7 years in some well known businesses in Vancouver: Clearly.ca and SHOES.COM. Today, you'll see me working on a social e-commerce business called Supernova.xyz and am looking to rapidly grow a team here in Vancouver in the upcoming months.

Is this your first time coworking? What made you choose to work at L'Atelier, what's your favorite thing about the space/ environment?

First time coworking! L'atelier looked to be the best culture fit for a marketing focused team that I'm building out.

A quote you live by

"I really want to clear my life to make it so that I have to make as few decisions as possible about anything except how to best serve this community," Zuckerberg said, after clarifying that he had "multiple same shirts."
