Updates on Our Space During the Covid-19 Pandemic
April 29th 2021 update: We have installed plexiglass partitions on our dedicated desks back in July 2020 and have been following the 2 m social distancing rule in the hot desk area. We have also installed Air Purifiers with True HEPA, which have been proven to capture covid-19 virus particles.

Following Work Safe BC Guidelines, here are the steps we recommend everyone takes to prevent contracting the coronavirus at our coworking space or any enclosed space:
If you are sick or have been travelling in the last 2 weeks, do not come in at all.
1- As of November 19th 2020, masks are mandatory in common areas. Quoting Dr. Bonnie Henry “If you are at work, at your desk, you do not need to wear your mask,” she said. “But if you are in a shared space … you do.” Masks are not mantatory while walking around the space at L'Atelier Coworking. You do not need to wear a mask if you're at your desk (dedicated desk or hot desk) or in the meeting rooms and phone rooms.
2- Properly wash and dry your hands as soon as you arrive at the space.
3- We have provided disenfectant spray that you can borrow from the front desk to disenfect your sruface before each use. You can find the sprays in the hot desk, on top of the front desk, in the kitchen, and in the meeting rooms.
4- The recommendation is to keep a safe distance from each other (approximately 2 m). During this period, you have our permission to move the furniture around if needed as long as you put it back in place before leaving. We have marked areas in the hot desk.
5- Cover your face in your elbow if you need to caugh or sneeze even if it's just an allergy reaction.
6- Make sure to follow up to date guidelines even outside of our space.
Stay safe!
